Annual show

Every year we stage our annual variety show — a chance for parents, friends and family to see the progress a student has made over the year.

More importantly, it builds confidence. Standing on a stage in front of hundreds of people, performing a routine that twelve months earlier would have felt completely out of reach, is a genuine achievement. It's a moment to feel proud of, and it moves each child on again.

What's next

  • 2026 show recording — the highlights video is on its way and will be added below soon.
  • 2027 show dates — this year the show splits across two separate dates and venues by age group, rather than one day with a matinee and an evening: Saturday 8 May at the Parr Hall, Warrington, for our younger dancers (the matinee slot in previous years); and Sunday 2 May at the Brindley Theatre, Runcorn, for our older dancers (previously the evening ballet performance — this one may run as an afternoon matinee rather than an evening show; timing to be confirmed). More detail, including tickets, to follow.

How the show runs

The show has traditionally run as two performances on the same day at the Parr Hall: a matinee for our younger dancers across every style, and an evening ballet performance for our older dancers. For 2027 these split across two separate dates and venues instead — see "What's next" above.

The matinee features children of all ages across a range of styles — Ballerina Bear, Hip Hop Hippo, ballet, tap, modern, street and breakdance, and musical theatre.

The evening performance, for our older dancers, is given over to ballet. In 2026 that was Frozen – The Ballet and Peter Pan.

Tickets

Tickets are sold ahead of each show and, subject to availability, on the door. Ask us nearer the time, or watch our Facebook page for the announcement.
