the JC Dance Academy

One of Warrington's premier dance schools. Over 200 students a week, from age two to sixty-five and beyond.
Established in 2014, JC Dance Academy has grown at a rapid pace, with over 200 students attending on a weekly basis. Students take ISTD examinations accredited by Ofqual in Cecchetti ballet, tap and modern, and perform at the annual show, local festivals and competitions.
Alongside formal qualifications, students are part of something rather more meaningful: a friendly, sociable environment that prides itself on its family values. Dance is far more than a skill or a way to keep fit — the confidence that develops as a by-product is quite often the priority when a new student begins classes with us.
There is fierce competition among dance schools in Warrington. JC Dance Academy stands out by offering a wide range of classes for all ages, from two years old right through to over sixty-five, in a dedicated building with two studios, a number of other facilities, and free on-site parking on River Road, just off Wilderspool Causeway.

Where to start

Children & young people
ISTD ballet, tap and modern with graded examinations, plus street and breakdance crews, musical theatre and Zumba Kids.
Kids classes
Adults
Beginners to advanced adult ballet and tap, Zumba Fitness and Strong by Zumba. No experience needed, and nobody minds if it has been thirty years.

In 2017 and 2018 JC Dance Academy was voted one of the top three dance schools in Warrington, for consistent quality across reputation, ratings, trust, satisfaction, cost and general excellence.
