Dance classes for toddlers (2–4)

Two classes cover this age group, both from the Dancing Dots syllabus: gentle, story-led ballet in Ballerina Bear, and rhythm-led street dance in Hip Hop Hippo. From age two, children take their class on their own, in small groups split by age so the pace suits them.

Underneath the stories and the games is real technique — musicality, balance, coordination and posture — taught in the only way a two-year-old will actually accept it. Children who start here often move straight into Pre-Primary ballet at four and, later, ISTD examinations.

What to bring

Comfortable clothes they can move in. No uniform is needed to try a class, and bare feet or soft shoes are both fine.
