Dance classes near Grappenhall, Warrington
Grappenhall and Thelwall Heys families are regulars at the academy, from the pre-school Ballerina Bear and Hip Hop Hippo classes right through to the exam grades and the competition crews.
From the historic cobbled village it is a short drive west across the Manchester Ship Canal into Wilderspool, where River Road and our car park are waiting.
Finding us
JC Dance Academy, River Road, off Wilderspool Causeway, Warrington, WA4 6ZD — just off the Causeway behind Kwik Fit. We are the only building attached to the park with its own car park.
Parking is free for anyone visiting, so the class run is straightforward from anywhere in south and central Warrington.
What we teach
Classes run from age two to sixty-five and beyond, six days a week:
- Cecchetti ballet, tap and modern for children, with Ofqual-accredited ISTD graded examinations
- Street and breakdance crews, from beginners to the competition teams
- Musical theatre — singing, dancing and acting together
- Pre-school classes from six months old, with a grown-up at first
- Adult ballet, tap and Zumba — all abilities, no experience needed
Coming from Grappenhall
The quickest way is over Knutsford Road bridge and along towards Wilderspool Causeway; River Road is signed off the Causeway near the retail park. Grappenhall Heys and St Wilfrid's are roughly ten minutes away.
Trying a class
New students are welcome to book a trial in any class that has space. We follow the local Warrington school terms, so families can plan holidays without paying for classes they will miss. Fees are paid by the term.
