Dance classes near Penketh, Warrington
Penketh and Sankey Bridges families come to JC Dance Academy for its graded exam classes and the friendly, family-run feel that the bigger chains do not have.
It is a short drive east along the A562 and Sankey Way into town, then south down Wilderspool Causeway to River Road — around fifteen minutes, traffic permitting, with parking on arrival.
Finding us
JC Dance Academy, River Road, off Wilderspool Causeway, Warrington, WA4 6ZD — just off the Causeway behind Kwik Fit. We are the only building attached to the park with its own car park.
Parking is free for anyone visiting, so the class run is straightforward from anywhere in south and central Warrington.
What we teach
Classes run from age two to sixty-five and beyond, six days a week:
- Cecchetti ballet, tap and modern for children, with Ofqual-accredited ISTD graded examinations
- Street and breakdance crews, from beginners to the competition teams
- Musical theatre — singing, dancing and acting together
- Pre-school classes from six months old, with a grown-up at first
- Adult ballet, tap and Zumba — all abilities, no experience needed
Coming from Penketh
Head in past the Sankey Valley and the old canal locks, follow signs for the town centre, then take Wilderspool Causeway south. River Road is on the left just before the swing bridge.
Trying a class
New students are welcome to book a trial in any class that has space. We follow the local Warrington school terms, so families can plan holidays without paying for classes they will miss. Fees are paid by the term.
