Dance classes for children (5–11)
This is where the full range opens up. Most students are working through Cecchetti ballet, ISTD tap and ISTD modern in some combination, with street & breakdance crews from four and musical theatre joining from age seven.
Ballet is where most students start, and it underpins the rest — the placement, strength and musicality carry straight into tap, modern and street. Examinations become available from age five, are entirely optional, and are taken when a student is ready rather than to a timetable. More about ISTD exams.

Beyond the studio
Our street and breakdance crews compete — placing at Calling U Out, Iconic and the UK Street Dance Challenge, and performing at Winter Wonderland at Event City in Manchester (results here). Nobody has to compete; plenty come purely because it's the best hour of their week.
